As the final month of autumn, May is one of the most popular months to visit Jordan, because of the pleasant weather; gone are the hot days that discourage most travelers, but the coldest days of the year haven’t yet arrived either.

Jordan in October has finally said goodbye to brazing temperatures and welcomed the lovely fall season!
The average temperature in October in Jordan is around 75°F (24°C). During the day, temperatures can rise to around 84°F (29°C) but drop to a refreshing 63°F (17°C) at night, providing the perfect balance for exploring the cities, hiking in the mountains, or relaxing by the beach in Aqaba.
Always remember it depends on the region you visit. Amman averages a temperature of 68°F (20°C). Petra’s temperatures fall considerably and average the same as Amman’s. Meanwhile, Aqaba remains warm, averaging 89°F (32°C) throughout the month.
